Al Shabab Claims Responsibility For Hotel Terror Attack


At least 20 were killed and more than 40 were wounded when armed gunman stormed an upscale hotel in Somalia. The attacks were claimed by Al Shabab, an Al-Qaeda-linked militant group that’s been terrorizing the region for more than 15 years with the goal of establishing a fundamentalist Islamic state. The assault began late Friday when two car bombs were detonated outside the Hayat Hotel. The siege lasted well over 24 hours.
